The stone itself can be compared to that of an emerald due to both stones belonging to the same classification. Due to the green-blue hue of the gemstone, it suits all skin tones. The deeper or more vibrant the shade of blue, the higher this gemstone is priced. Aquamarine is also said to be the March birthstone and a 19th wedding anniversary present. It has also been said that this stone has the power to heal those with swollen glands.
